Beneath a February sky I found spring.
Like a visit from an old friend, “Well hello there! How’ve you been?”
Vibrant blossoms unfurl; eager to emerge from their dark muddy slumber.
“It is spring again. The earth is like a child that knows poems by heart.”
-Rainer Maria Rilke
I love the pop of color and the extra daylight. Are you looking forward to spring too?
Yes, please hurry up, make your entrance.

I think we can enjoy the rain AND the sunshine. I saw them simultaneously when I lived in New Mexico.

Yes! I DO love this extra sunlight! Although the whole West Coast needs more rain.

I was just telling Dora that I think we can enjoy both at the same time! 🙂 Rain and spring flowers. I am desperate for both.

Ah, spring! Finally! Great pictures, Sandra. Wish it was nice up here in the great white, cold northeast.

Thanks so much! We are both on opposite ends of extreme conditions. I have been in awe of your pics and Mark’s. Frozen tundra out your way. Wish we could swap conditions to correct the imbalance.
