I know I just said it, but I will say it again: Your family photos always make me smile, especially the older ones. What a sweet memory 🙂

Thank you so much sweet girl! And BTW, you can say that as much as you like. I never get tired of it. ((hugs))

Thanks John! I want to write more about my parents some day. I think they have an interesting story. I appreciate your comment!

Her dress says she’s a real square; her hair says she is not.

She’s the coolest cat I know. Taught me how to mash potato on the linoleum when I was just three apples high. 😉

Suddenly we’re in a scene from “Hairspray.” Your gravatar already got the memo. 🙂

    True love, so sweet!

    • May 9, 2014 at 2:36 pm

I almost used “True Love” as my title for this post! I went with Love Always because it’s how my dad signed off on their picture.

      • May 9, 2014 at 3:01 pm

Yes, Love Always does apply to them, sometimes True Love is just in the moment.

Your dad Frank had it going on in high school, Sandra. And mom Lola — what a great nickname for Dolores! — knew it then and now, didn’t she? Thank you for allowing their light to shine in my house today, my friend.

    • May 9, 2014 at 6:10 pm

Thank you for your thoughtful comment Mark! I’m sure Frank and Dolores Bialdez would thank you too. 😉

If I do not see you here beforehand, Sandra, I wish you a delightful Mother’s Day, my friend! Cut up the rug with your little rocker Oliva!

Thank you so much my friend! I hope you are having a great weekend as well! I’ll catch up with you soon. xoxo

I ❤ handwritten notes. So personal. And happy Mother's Day!

I love handwritten notes too. I stumbled on this one. It’s been snug in it’s frame for years. I removed it to scan it for this post and found my dad’s voice on the back. When he was just a boy. It warmed my heart. A happy Mother’s Day to you too my friend!
