Summer Toes

Oliva looked insulted when I said she wasn’t old enough to paint my toes.

MOM, I know how to paint!”

She replied with a “duh” expression on her face. “It’s only been my preferred medium for the past 4 years!” I imagine her say. So I hand over the polish and here’s the result. What do you think?

It’s a little Jackson Pollacky, but still looks better than Mama June’s forklift toe, and my left pinky toe that I broke last week. Did she take an accurate assessment of her work, or were you kind? 😉

Broken pinky toe, no! That sounds painful! I gushed over her hardwork and determination. 😉

That’s probably the right choice. I get worse at it each year myself, trying to contort myself to reach the old toes.

HA! Teach her to give you a foot massage while she’s at it.
