I read an article on how to shoot the moon with an iPhone! So With hopes high I followed the directions.
This was such a beautiful picture in my head. The moon was bold and clear. So clear you could make out all the details on the surface.
I do like the NightCap app to capture low light shots like this. I need to learn more about how to use it properly.
I did some more research and snapped this shot with my Nikon.
I learned that my lens isn’t strong enough. But the tripod was helpful in steadying my aim.
Closer to the picture in my head. I’ll keep working it out.

I’ve struggled with taking photos of the moon also. Your last two photos came out really well in my opinion.

It is. I think it’s one of those things that takes a while to figure out. I don’t feel like I have it yet.
