    1. Thank you, Mark! This is such a cool drinking fountain it was installed in 2015 it’s titled,”Pearl Diver.” You turn a ship’s wheel to drink from the water that spouts from either the crab or the smaller octopus. The water pools in a clam shell and drains under a big round steel ball shaped to look like a pearl. Lots of great details. We are early birds, Mark. Always up and around before the crowds begin to congregate. Hope you are doing well today!

  1. I really enjoy the steampunk look. This is great. Thanks for the link in the background. It’s such a cool idea to have a water fountain look like something unique. I hope you have a great day. Smiles across the way.

    1. Thank you Chris! I love all the details the artist included. I forgot to mention the title of the piece, “Pearl Diver.” This is in front of a restaurant called “Splash” where there is a rotating platform under the bar seating area and there’s cutouts in the flooring so you can see the ocean below. I hope you have a great day too! 🙂

    1. Thanks John! Glad you liked it. I forgot to mention the artist named this piece, “Pearl Diver.” Cool details throughout. Hope you are enjoying another sunny day out in LV as best you can! Take care.

      1. That’s really cool to see it out in the public area. When I live, there’s a bunch of lakes, so the city uses a swan as its symbol, so most of the art around here is themed around swans. But not cool steampunk swans. 🙂

  2. Love the fountain. I hope it is still when I make my tour of California. I would love to see it up close. Keep putting these odd things on your post, they can be much more interesting than the usual sights.
