Remember when I told you about the bumble bee that startled me when I was loitering in the lavender a couple posts ago? It got away before I could snap a decent picture.
When I was out for a walk this morning I stopped to photograph these poppies.
And Like a second chance guess who I spied bumbling around?
This pudgy little friend.
I had to severely crop these images because a fence post prevented me from getting any closer. Hopefully the quality holds up.

It always amazes me that bumble bees can fly with those short wings and large bodies. No wonder they buzz so loudly! 😊
