Second chances

Remember when I told you about the bumble bee that startled me when I was loitering in the lavender a couple posts ago? It got away before I could snap a decent picture.

When I was out for a walk this morning I stopped to photograph these poppies.

And Like a second chance guess who I spied bumbling around?

This pudgy little friend.

I had to severely crop these images because a fence post prevented me from getting any closer. Hopefully the quality holds up.

  1. Aw, he found you again! They are kind of cute and pudgy aren’t they. You did great with this image, Sandra. I hope all is well on your side of the continent and you’re having a great day. Take care.

    1. Thank you Chris! I agree with you. I think they are plump and cute. They’re trying their best to stay up in the air it seems. I hope you’re doing well out your way too. Zooming winding down for the year? I have a few more meetings to go before summer break.

  2. Every time I see a Bumble Bee I remember the childhood song.
โ€œIโ€™m bringing home my baby Bumble Bee, Wonโ€™t my Mommy be so proud of me…!โ€
    Do you remember that song?

    Take care and Happy Thursday!
