Aw, I hope their owner finds them. It always brightens a person’s day to find something they thought they lost. You did a great job capturing them with your camera. It gives a sense that someone had an adventure. Have a great day!
One of the strangest things I’ve ever spotted, on a walk behind our chalet, is a saucepan. It was just lying there, to the side of the track. (No camp site for miles btw). A few days later it had gone, but then I saw it in the trees… I’ll have to go and look to see if it’s moved again… (Perhaps it’s alive). 😉
The person with the net was attempting to gently corral the person who ran out of the shoes in a happy kids game. That’s how my mind puts the two together, Sandra. Can’t help it!
I just read this post about bumblebees and thought you might like the quote at the end!? https://maltanita.com/2020/05/31/bumblebee/
Also, the saucepan is still there. I took a photo but I’m not sure how I’ll fit it into one of my posts. 🤔
Thank you so much for the recommendation! Great post and I love the quote at the end. Following that site now too. I’m so glad you took a pic of the saucepan! I hope you decide to work it into a post. 🙂
Funny to imagine how they managed that, isn’t it? They are little kid size shoes, somehow they don’t appear that way in the shot. Maybe mom was nearby with a stroller and he hopped in without her noticing he ditched the shoes down the path?

It’s a playful story that makes perfect sense to me! Those happy little feet can’t be restricted by laces and rubber soles! Take care, bro.

That’s odd, why were they left behind??

That’s what I’m wondering, John. Also, did the net and the shoes belong to the same visitor or did two separate parties lose belongings?

I’ll be sure to take a photo next time (if it hasn’t run away!)

I am really fascinated as to why someone had taken off their shoes…
