Jack

Part kangaroo part rabbit part donkey?

According to National Geographic: “Jackrabbits were named for their ears, which initially caused some people to refer to them as ‘jackass rabbits.’ The writer Mark Twain brought this name to fame by using it in his book of western adventure, Roughing It. The name was later shortened to jackrabbit.”

Jack

Let’s shorten it further and call this one Jack. Technically he’s a hare anyway, given his size.

    1. Thank you Chris! I wonder what it’s like to have a set of ears that large. And what about ticks out in this open field? Are they immune to lyme disease? I’ve got questions for these guys.
