Remember the weeping willows I shared with you? This is the pond in front of the entrance to a gated community where the willows live.

Some geese flew in to honk at me. Intimidation tactics. They know I don’t live here.

Ignore them.

If you look out beyond the pond you can see the smoky haze that has settled over the neighborhood below.
Good for you not being intimidated by the geese. It does look really hazy and smoky in the distance. From the look of the trees, the gated community looks well maintained. Have a great day, Sandra.

Isn’t it? It’s easy to see why the geese flock here. Thank you for visiting!

These gated communities for the rich seem to be all over the world. Here’s one I found in the Auteuil district of Paris:

At least the skies seem to be relatively clear! Lovely ‘pencil’ trees, yew perhaps? The geese look like Canada Geese and not to be messed with unless you’ve got food for them 😉. It’s stopped raining here this afternoon after 3 days! I’ve now got my sunglasses on😎🤣

Yes Ashley, the smoke is moving out. For now. It’s great to see blue sky. Joining you with my sunglasses too! 😎

Poor Little O is terrified of the geese at our local pond. I always have to distract them so he can feed the ducks!
