These little ones are always so fast I struggle with capturing their picture. Felt lucky getting these shots in. I hope you had a nice day Nancy!

Thanks, Sandra. Unfortunately, Sunday is overcast and it’s raining again but I did get out yesterday after the fog and mist lifted. The sun shone and I met up with some friends from my local wildlife society (socially distanced of course) and went for a ramble along the south shore of Lough Neagh. Because there was some shooting going on a couple of miles away, (pop, pop, pop 👿) there weren’t many birds about, although we had one unusual sighting of an egret, (https://www.rspb.org.uk/birds-and-wildlife/wildlife-guides/bird-a-z/great-white-egret/ ).

I’m glad to hear that you were able to get out with some friends. How fortunate to have encountered a beautiful egret! I enjoyed reading the link you shared. Sounds dangerous that people were shooting so close to where people walk! 😳take good care friend 😘
