I enjoy connecting through words and pictures with other creative kindreds here on WordPress. My hope is for you to find friendship and inspiration in these notes.

Currently I’m preoccupied with my Nikon D7500, I have a pair of socks on my knitting needles, and I’m learning to play Hamilton songs on my ukulele. If it sounds like I’m all over the place then you must be paying attention, dear reader!

“Can’t sell your soul for peace of mind.”

Square One, written by Tom Petty from the 2006 album Highway Companion.

Tom Petty is one of my all time favorite storytellers. His passing has left a hole in my heart. His music was always there during the big moments in my life, middle school dances, high school graduation, the undergrad debacle, marriage, baby girl, depression, unemployment. I Won’t Back Down is the anthem that will carry me across the finish line, without fail. I’m convinced of that.

I am happy you stopped by. Thank you for taking the time to read my about page. I would love to get to know you too, what draws you to WordPress, what are your preoccupations, who’s your favorite artist?

Awards are flattering but comments fuel my inspiration, influence content, and are sincerely appreciated!

Thank you again for visiting and I hope you will subscribe! Take good care.

It’s lovely to find you here. Sounds like you’re keeping busy. I have my own blog although I don’t write much. I have a big preoccupation with writing ‘hokku’ that keeps to the spirit of the original Japanese verse (nature and the seasons). Favourite artist? Music or art? When I was a teenager I wore a jacket on which I had painted my own Picasso whilst listening to Cream, Jimi Hendrix or Jethro Tull. It’s all changed now though. Older, wiser (?) and slower!
