  1. As sooon as i read they were chatting, I immediately thought in Morse code, tap, tap-tap, tap-tap. We get these types of woodpeckers (or something very similar) at our suet feeder all of the time. Nice capture in that you really got the blaze of red. Have a great day.

    1. Thank you Chris! Their tapping reminds me of Morse code too, now that you mention it. That’s funny. The one on the left has his beak open wide I couldn’t tell if he was eating or yawning or what. They’re rowdy birds! I hope you’re having a great weekend.
