Cool old poster – I like it! Did you get to ride the Big Dipper?

Thanks! Only once. Never again. Do you like roller coasters?

      • April 30, 2014 at 10:40 am

I am one of those people who would like to enjoy them but on the rare occasion that I ride one I find myself holding on in sheer terror with white knuckles gripping whatever I can. ha ha ha

Me too! They sound good in theory but in practice, not so much. 🙂

The worst are the ones in the dark (Space Mountain at Disney). You’ would think that not seeing would be a blessing but actually, it means you cannot prepare for what is about to happen. At least we can both cross “ride a roller coaster” off of our bucket list. 😉

Completely agree with you on all counts! 🙂

I used to love roller coasters, Sandra, but I haven’t been for a pretty good stretch. Not as far back as the Big Dipper, though, I must say!

    • April 30, 2014 at 10:40 am

Me too, Mark! They have since lost their appeal though. Maybe because I have heard too many horror stories.

I think my joints would ache more afterward, too, Sandra, if it were a really great rollercoaster.

Once, when I was very young and foolish I rode the roller coaster at Santa Cruz.

🙂 I can picture that Dora! Me too. Only once. That’s all I need of that ride ever again.

Hi sandra, the woman on the far right, holding on for dear life – that’s me! used to love fair rides but no more.

I’m right with you, Rachel! They look like fun from a distance but I find the free fall sensation frightening as an adult.

The old roller. Love the pic.

Thank you so much! Do you like roller coaster rides?

      • April 30, 2014 at 8:34 pm

I rode once and that was enough! It was the longest ride of my life. AAAAAAAAAAAAAA…….

      • April 30, 2014 at 8:41 pm

I know exactly what you mean! I remember thinking, “why did this sound like a good idea?” as the clickity clackity cart jerked me about.

I’m concerned about the dog… haha

Good eye Christopher! I missed that part. Poor pooch!
